Tim Sampson Memorial Award

Scholarship will be awarded for the Fall semester

  • Scholarship Intent: To recognize activist students who capture the spirit of organizing and changing, per the spirit of former SFSU SSW professor, Tim Sampson.
  • Criteria:
    1) All currently enrolled MSW students with a 3.5 SF State GPA are eligible.
    2) Students must have demonstrated commitment to community and society change to achieve equity and social justice.
    3) Applicants must submit a well-written and substantive essay (5-pages maximum; double-spaced, 12 pitch font) that addresses her/his goals for achieving such change.
