Scholarship Intent: Proteus awards several scholarships to deserving students through a competitive application process.
Criteria:
1) See website or contact organization for other scholarship opportunities—including the William Maguy Scholarship—and specific requirements (GPA, major, class standing, previous schooling).
2) Applicant and/or their parents must have received a service from Proteus within the last 4 years.
3) Applicant family must be low income.
4) Proteus employees and their immediate relatives are not eligible to apply.
5) Must live in either: Kern, Kings, Fresno, or Tulare Counties.
6) Plan to attend a two or four year college or post-secondary institute.
7) Your enrollment status must be full time or part time per semester for the 2021-2022 school year.
8) Submit a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, application form must be signed by applicant/ parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18.
