Peninsula College Fund, The

  • Scholarship Intent: To motivate underrepresented minority students to attend college.
  • Criteria:
    1) The Peninsula College Fund welcomes applications from students who attend one of the following partner schools: Aspire East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy, Downtown College Prep (east San Jose campus), East Palo Alto Academy, Eastside College Preparatory School, Gunn High School, Latino College Prep Academy, Menlo School, Menlo-Atherton High School, Mt. Pleasant High School, Overfelt High School, Palo Alto High School, Sacred Heart Prep, Saint Francis High School, San Jose High School, Sequoia High School, Serra High School, Summit Preparatory High School, Woodside High School
    2) Documented financial need.
    3) Plan to attend a four-year accredited U.S. educational institution beginning in the fall.
    4) Be an underrepresented minority and/or first-generation college student.
    5) Demonstrate outstanding academic potential, value mentoring and motivated to contribute to community and/or family.
    6) Open to AB540 and undocumented students
