Scholarship Intent: The Orion Fund provides grants to California college students age 32 and under confronted with a serious health crisis. We fund unpaid medical costs, medical technology, educational, and living expenses.
Criteria:
1) Must be age 32 and under.
2) Must be enrolled at a California college.
3) Must have a serious medical condition that affects the ability to stay in school.
4) Must identify the impact of medical conditions has on educational goals and daily life at school.
5) Must complete an application form and submit the following: a letter of recommendation from an academic or medical advisor, supporting documentation of requested expenses, and proof of college enrollment (unofficial transcript.)
