Northern California Chapter COMTO Future of Transportation Scholarship
Scholarship Intent: To advocate for the transportation careers and transportation needs by awarding scholarship to deserving undergraduate minority students.
Criteria:
1) Demonstrate an intent to pursue a career in transportation, including (but not limited to): Transportation planning, Transportation engineering, Mobility as a Service, Public Policy, Environmental Science.
2) Applicant must either be resident of Northern California OR must attend college in Northern California.
3) Must be minority student: African American, African, Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian, Native American or Pacific Islander diasporas.
4) Must have declared majors beginning their sophomore, junior or senior year.
5) Students may receive scholarships a maximum of two times from this COMTO chapter.
6) Must attend a COMTO event to receive scholarship.
Major: Multiple (but not limited to): Engineering: Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical Environmental; Urban Design and Planning; Business: Economics; Communications; Public Health; Policy; IT; Social Sciences: Political Science, Pre-law.
Class Level: Undergrad: Sophomore, Junior, Senior; Grad: N/A
