Scholarship Intent: These scholarships are designed to recognize students who demonstrate a passion for public service, academic potential, leadership, and financial need.
Criteria:
1) Must have declared a program of study in law enforcement, criminal justice, administration of justice or police science; Contact org for all majors that apply.
2) Must plan on pursuing a career in police work, corrections and other criminal justice fields. This scholarship is not available to law students.
3) Current graduating senior or graduate of a public high school in in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (includes San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties).
4) Planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university or police academy as a full-time student.
