Scholarship Intent: This scholarship is to aid motivated and needy students, at any level of higher education or training, who find it difficult to defray the expenses of attending a school of higher-education, were it not for some outside means of financial assistance.
Criteria:
1) Prefer students who have completed high school and are under the age of 30.
2) Preferably have been a resident of Ventura County at some point.
3) Must be enrolled in trade/vocational program, college/university, or internship for recreation or children care/development.
4) Submit certified, unopened transcript of your last two years of education, one letter of recommendation, and a personal essay statement.
