Chief Manuelito Scholarship

  • Scholarship Intent: The Chief Manuelito Scholarship was established in 1980 to provide scholarship to high achieving Navajo high school graduates.
  • Criteria:
    1) Must be enrolled member of the Navajo Nation with proof of 1/4 or more Navajo Indian Blood quantum on Certificate of Indian Blood.
    2) High School graduates must have a minimum ACT composite score and a minimum GPA see website for details and completion of required Navajo language and Navajo Government courses prior to high school graduation date.
    3) Must apply every year not a four year scholarship.
    4) Attending a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.
    5) Undergraduates must have completed 24 semester credit hours.
