California Council of the Blind Scholarship

• Scholarship Intent: The California Council of the Blind offers a number of awards to the most deserving legally blind student applicants residing in California.
• Criteria:
  1) Must be registered as legally blind.
  2) Must have doctor’s statement or a statement from a qualified professional.
  3) Academic achievement.
  4) Must be CA resident. It is not required that the institution attended be located in California.
  5) If not enrolled full-time, must have extenuating circumstances.
