California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation (CAWG Foundation)

• Scholarship Intent: For high school seniors attending a CA public college or university and whose parents or legal guardians are vineyard employees of a California wine grape grower.
• Criteria:
  1) Have a parent or legal guardian who is/was an employee of a Winegrape grower during the 2020 or 2021 season.
  2) Renewable up to 4 years.
  3) Be graduating from high school and plan to attend a University of California, California State University or California community college in the fall of 2021.
  4) Complete the application form and attach official high school transcript.
  5) Optional to attach a copy of your SAT or ACT results if you are applying for a four-year scholarship; SAT or ACT results are not required for the 2021 scholarship.
  6) Provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor, the school principal or counselor. The letter must be signed and provide the address, telephone number and position held in the school.
  7) Submit a 500-word personal essay.
