American Society of Safety Professionals Foundation Scholarship Program

  • Scholarship Intent: The American Society of Safety Professionals Foundation offers award for students who plan to utilize their degrees to support occupational safety, health, and the environment.
  • Criteria:
    1) Core degrees desired are in occupational safety, health, environment, industrial hygiene, or occupational health nursing. If your degree is not specifically an occupational safety and health (OSH) degree, you may still apply but must make a case in the narrative section for how your degree relates to OSH.
    2) Undergraduate students: must be enrolled in a safety degree program with a least 12 units per semester and have already completed at least 60 undergraduate semester hours.
    3) Graduate students: Full time students must be enrolled in 9 graduate level semester hours or more. Part time students must be enrolled in 3-8 graduate level semester hours or more.
