American-Scandinavian Foundation

  • Scholarship Intent: The American-Scandinavian Foundation offers fellowships and grants to individuals to pursue research, study, or creative arts in one or more Scandinavian countries for up to one year.
  • Criteria:
    1) Open to US citizens and permanent residents.
    2) Grants support one to three month stay and a fellowships support an academic year long stay.
    3) Must have a well-defined research, study or creative arts project that makes a stay in Scandinavia essential.
    4) Must have completed undergraduate education by the start of project in Scandinavia.
    5) First priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received an ASF award.
