American Chemical Society Scholars Program

  • Scholarship Intent: The ACS offers scholarships to African American, Native American and Hispanic students planning to pursue full-time study in a chemically-related field with outstanding academic records and a desire to pursue a career in the chemical sciences.
  • Criteria:
    1) Must be a high school senior entering college and planning to pursue full time study in a chemically-related field.
    2) College freshman, sophomores and juniors pursuing chemically-related fields and community college students majoring in a two-year chemical technology program or planning to transfer to a four-year school are also eligible to apply.
    3) Must submit high school or college transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of Student Aid Report.
    4) High school students must also submit ACT or SAT scores.
