Eden Academic Excellence Award

The Eden Academic Excellence Award is awarded in the Fall and Spring.
Recipients will be highly encouraged to attend the CoSE Donor Luncheon in late October 2026 if the donor to their scholarship will be present.

• Awarding Department: College of Science and Engineering
• Scholarship Intent: To award B.S. Chemistry and B.S. Physics majors for academic excellence.
• Criteria:
  1) Students do not apply for this award.
  2) Physics and Chemistry department Chairs will identify the students who have met the requirements.
  3) Students may only receive the award one time.
  4) The student must achieve academic excellence as is reflected in three upper division Chemistry or Physics core or advanced courses; must have received a grade of B+ or better and at least 30.0 grade points in three upper division core or advanced courses in the B.S. Chemistry or B.S. Physics majors.
