Luther Family Scholarship

Science and Engineering

Awarded in the Fall 2026 semester to one student with a major in the Department of Computer Science.
Recipients are highly encouraged to attend the CoSE Donor Event in late October 2026 if the donor to their scholarship will be present.
Scholarship recipients must meet the following criteria as of the award period.

  • Awarding Department: Computer Science Department
  • Scholarship Intent: Support Undergraduate students majoring in Computer Science
  • Criteria:
    1. First generation college students
    2. Show financial need through the FAFSA eligibility
  • Major: Computer Science
  • Class Level: HS Seniors: N/A; Undergrad: All; Grad: N/A
  • Enrollment Status: Continuing SF State Students or newly Enrolled New Admits
  • Enrollment Requirement: Undergrad: 6 UNITS; Grad: N/A
  • Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA and/or CA Dream App: Required
  • Citizenship: US Citizen and Permanent Resident
  • GPA: HS GPA: N/A; Undergrad GPA: N/A; Grad GPA: N/A
