Henry & Haruye Ng Endowed Scholarship in Asian American Studies

Scholarship Award Period: This scholarship will be awarded in the Fall semester.

  • Awarding Department: Asian American Studies
  • Scholarship Intent: The purpose of the scholarship is to support graduate students in Asian American Studies who demonstrate a strong commitment to making positive contributions to society. In the absence of qualified graduate applicants, the award may be granted to undergraduate students pursuing Asian American Studies. Recipients may receive the scholarship more than once, but no more than two times.
  • Criteria: Preference will be given to students engaged in community work.
  • Major: Single: Asian American Studies
  • Class Level: Undergrad: Senior & Graduating Senior
  • Enrollment Status: Continuing SF State student.
  • Enrollment Requirement: Grad: 6 Units
  • Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA and/or CA Dream App: No.
