The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Scholarship

This Scholarship is to be awarded for the Fall 2025 semester. Scholarship recipient must be enrolled in at least 9-units (for undergraduate students) and 3-units (for graduate students) in the Fall 2025 semester.

  • Awarding Department: Accounting Department
  • Scholarship Intent: To provide scholarships to students who made major contributions to the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Student Organization at SFSU. NABA is open to all students.
  • Criteria: The students shall be current members of the NABA, a student organization open to all students.
    Supplemental Questions:
    1.Please describe your contributions to the NABA (500 words limit).
    2.(Optional) A recommendation letter from the faculty advisor of NABA.
  • Major: Multiple: Open to all undergraduate majors in the LFCOB and graduate students in the LFCoB. Also open to all students in the graduate business programs in the LFCoB.
  • Class Level: Undergrad: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior & Senior; Grad: 2nd BA & Masters/MFA
  • Enrollment Status: Continuing SF State student
  • Enrollment Requirement: Undergrad: 9 UNITS; Grad: 3 UNITS
  • Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA and/or CA Dream App: No.
  • Citizenship: Any.
  • GPA: Undergrad GPA: 2.5, Grad GPA: No minimum GPA required
