Gyani Family Endowed Scholarship for International Students

Scholarship Award Period: This scholarship will be awarded for the Spring 2026 semester. Must be enrolled in at least 12-units (if undergraduate student) or 8-units (if graduate student) in Spring 2026.

  • Scholarship Intent: With a deep and intimate understanding of what it takes to support oneself in a new country and navigate degree completion, the donors (Mohan Gyani and Tejinder Gyani) want to set up a scholarship to support international students seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree offered in the Lam Family College of Business.
  • Criteria:
    1. Continuing San Francisco State international students pursuing a degree in the Lam Family College of Business with self-reported financial need.
    2. Preference shall be given to students whose area of study is or who demonstrate an understanding of economic issues, cultural exchange and trade between the United States and India and/or economic/social/business issues affecting immigrants in the United States.
  • Major: All undergraduate majors within the Lam Family College of Business & all graduate-level degree programs within Lam Family College of Business.
  • Class Level: Undergrad: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, & Senior; Grad: 2nd BA & Masters
