This scholarship will be awarded for the upcoming Academic Year.

  • Scholarship Intent: The Student Enrichment Opportunities (SEO) Undergraduate (Jr/Sr) Fellowship Awards are designed to prepare students from SFSU, including first-generation students and those with disabilities and demonstrated financial need, for competitive PhD programs in science or advanced professional degrees. The fellowships provide academic and financial support within a stimulating, structured research environment. This single application will be used to consider applicants for ALL the undergraduate fellowships housed in the SEO Office, including NIH U-RISE, Genentech Foundation Undergraduate Scholars, and Vir Biotechnology Scholars.
