FAME Scholarship Fund for Finance Students

Scholarship awarded for the Spring 2026 semester. Must be enrolled in at least 12-units in Spring 2026.

• Awarding Department: Finance Department
• Scholarship Intent: Alumni/ae of the Financial Analysis and Management Education (FAME), an independent student organization of San Francisco State University’s Lam Family College of Business, would like to offer scholarship funds to FAME students who are in need of financial assistance in pursuing their educational goals and careers in the finance industry. The purpose of the FAME Scholarship Fund is to assist promising undergraduate San Francisco State student FAME members.
• Criteria:
  Undergraduate students in the Lam Family College of Business who are members of the FAME student organization and meets at least one of the following categories (please note: number of scholarship award/s offered is dependent on the funds available):
  a. Demonstrates financial need with no GPA restriction.
  b. GPA of 3.4 or higher and demonstrates leadership potential.

• Major: Single: Business Administration with a concentration in Finance
• Class Level: HS Seniors: N/A; Undergrad: Junior, Senior and Graduating Seniors Only; Grad: N/A
• Enrollment Status: Continuing SF State Students
• Enrollment Requirement: Undergrad: 12 UNITS; Grad: N/A
• Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA and/or CA Dream App: Required
• Citizenship: Any
• GPA: HS GPA: N/A; Undergrad GPA: 3.4; Grad GPA: N/A
