- Criteria: Academic merit (broadly defined to include grades, research activities, physics/astronomy-related extracurricular activities, service & leadership to fellow students, department, and broader community, obstacles/challenges faced and overcome) and financial need.
- Major: Any Physics & Astronomy major/concentration.
