• Scholarship Intent: The purpose of the Critical Mixed Race Studies Scholarship Fund is to support the Richard and Mildred Loving Scholarship Award and the Maria P. P. Root Scholarship Award in Critical Mixed Race Studies at SF State.

  Students must write a short essay (no more than 500 words) about Richard and Mildred Loving and their contribution to the discipline of Critical Mixed Race Studies Enrollment in courses through SF State’s College of Extended Learning may be considered in determining a student’s part-time enrollment status.
