The scholarship provides up to two years of funding at $3,750 per semester/$7,500 per academic year

Awarding Department: Lam Family College of Business Scholarship Intent:The Muffly family is creating the Zoe Yan-Xu Muffly Scholarship to support a first-generation college

student who without additional support would be unable to finish their degree. The family takes its
inspiration for this scholarship from their daughter Zoe Yan-Xu Muffly who completed her degree at San
Francisco State University in the Lam Family College of Business. It is their hope through this
scholarship to support a deserving student like Zoe successfully pursue their dreams through
achievement of their degree.
Criteria:
1) Students who are first in their family to attend college.
2) Students who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA eligibility.
3) Preference will be given to students who have at least a B minus average and who maintain at least a B minus average over the course of the award period.
4) Preference will be given to students involved in student organizations focused on the cultural, professional or educational advancement of disadvantaged and underrepresented communities.

Major: Multiple Majors in the College of Business: Business Administration;Economics; Hospitality and Tourism Management; Labor and Employment Studies.
