Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS)

  • Scholarship Intent: The Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) mission is to build the transportation industry through the global advancement of women. WTS recognizes that transportation is more than simply moving people and goods from one place to another. It is a driver of growth and an integral part of communities throughout the world. The leadership, skills, and perspectives of women are essential to ensure that the transportation systems of the future respond to the needs of all.
  • Criteria:
    1) Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
    2) Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a transportation-related field, such as transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics
    3) Plans to pursue a career in a transportation-related field
    4) Cis or transgender woman
    5) Either originating from or attending school in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area or three-county Monterey Bay Area
