David E. Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Science and Engineering
Scholarship will be awarded for the Fall 2019 semester. The scholarship winner(s) will be invited to and strongly encouraged to attend the Donor Recognition and Scholarship Award Dinner on November 19.

Awarding Department: Geography and Environment
Scholarship Intent: To encourage and support the pursuit of a geographic education at SF State for students with a demonstrated interest in environmental justice or urban environmental planning. Students active in the African American community are encouraged to apply.
Criteria:
1) Juniors/Seniors and graduates who have completed at least 10 units in Geography or Environmental Science major
2) Submit a statement of approximately 500 words discussing your interest in environmental justice/urban environmental planning
3) One or two paragraph statement of financial need
4) Submit a current SF State Transcript
