Scholarship Intent: To Supports student success in marine and coastal research and science engagement. This scholarship is for students conducting research and taking classes at the Estuary & Ocean Science Center @ RTC campus.
Criteria: Active participation in the Estuary & Ocean Science community as defined by the following:
1) Faculty mentor identified and research project partially formulated.
2) Current or past enrollment in Estuary & Ocean Science classes.
3) Estuary & Ocean Science community service/outreach – participation in specified outreach activities of approx. 10 hours per semester at the discretion of the Estuary & Ocean Science Education and Outreach Coordinator.
Major: Multiple: Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Geography, Earth and Climate Sciences, Engineering, Marine Science-MS, IMES MS
Class Level: Undergrad: Upper Division/Junior/Senior/Graduating Senior, Grad: 2nd BA/Masters
