Diana T.Y. Chung Memorial Scholarship for International Students

This scholarship will be awarded for the 2018-2019 academic year. Students must be enrolled full-time during the Fall 2018 semester to receive the scholarship award.

The Diana T.Y. Chung Memorial Scholarship is awarded each fall to one incoming (new) and one current international student at SF State. The amount of each award will vary from year-to-year, but will be no less than $1,000.00 per student. The scholarship is not renewable and is awarded in November/December contingent upon admission and verification of full-time enrollment at SF State. The award will be in the form of check made payable to the student and can be used by the student according to his/her needs. Scholarship recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic ability, financial need and willingness to promote international goodwill at SF State. Recipients must be enrolled in a full course of study at SF State (12 units for undergraduates; 8 units for graduates) for the Fall 2018 Semester.

    1) Open to all matriculated (degree seeking) F-1 & J-1 international students at the undergraduate and graduate levels of study.
    2) Both prospective and continuing international students are eligible to apply.
    3) The awards will be based on both merit and need with higher consideration given to academic merit.
