Robert William Maxwell Scholarship

Maxwell scholarships open to newly admitted and continue grad students and graduating seniors who have been admitted to the graduate program in the College of Science & Engineering.

Will be awarded for academic year 2018-2019.

  • Awarding Department: Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Climate Sciences, Engineering, Geography & Environment, Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, Psychology
  • Scholarship Intent: To attract new graduate students to the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) and to financially assist current COSE students.
  • Criteria: Graduate student must be classified or conditionally classified in the College of Science and Engineering. Graduate student must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA for undergraduate work and 3.2 for graduate work or undergraduate level student enrolled in SF State College of Science and Engineering planning to pursue a graduate level degree.
  • Major: Multiple: All majors in the College of Science and Engineering
  • Class Level: Undergrad: Graduating Senior; Grad: Masters/2nd BA
  • Enrollment Status: Any
  • Enrollment Requirement: Undergrad: 12 UNITS; Grad: 6 UNITS
