Bill Plachy Endowed TA Award

Awarded in Fall 2024. Recipients are strongly encouraged to attend the College of Science and Engineering Donors Appreciation Event in early October, 2024.

Dr. William Plachy was a physical chemistry professor at SFSU who taught general chemistry and physical chemistry courses. In recognition of the important impact that graduate students teaching chemistry laboratories have on students enrolled in these courses, he created an award to recognize outstanding teaching in the chemistry program by graduate students.
