  4. In a 500-word essay, discuss a current ethical issue in journalism. What steps can reporters and their news organizations put in place in the editorial process to understand and deal with this ethical issue? Include examples from professional news organizations and use the code of ethics from nationally recognized professional organizations such as the Society of Professional Journalists and the Radio Television News Directors Association. Essays will be judged for their quality of argument, reasoning, evidence and writing.
