Scholarship Intent: To assist SFSU students who are living with HIV and plan to make a contribution to communities affected by HIV. Contributions can be in any field, including: the arts, health sciences, social services, etc.
Criteria: Verification from your physician that you have HIV (a note on official letterhead or from SF State disability resource center is sufficient). Brief typed essay no more than 3 pages discussing your contributions or plans to incorporate your academic work and degree at SF State with service in the HIV community or in the area of HIV prevention. Enrolled the semester the award is given to receive payment.
