- Scholarship Intent: The Kieu Chinh Scholarship Endowment provides support to students who engage with the socio-political complexities of the Vietnamese American community. Such students are committed to working for peace and justice in global solidarity with people of color, with a particular interest in the humanities and arts. The scholarship is named in honor of Vietnamese American actress, humanitarian, lecturer, and philanthropist Kieu Chinh.

Criteria:
1. Unofficial transcripts
2. Students will address the following in their scholarship application: Their strong interest in engaging with the socio-political complexities of the Vietnamese American community; Their commitment to working for peace and justice in global solidarity with people of color; Their interest in the humanities and arts (500-750 words).
3. Letter of recommendation (Optional). - Preferred Major and/or Minor: Multiple: Africana Studies, American Indian Studies, Asian American Studies, Latina/Latino Studies, and Race & Resistance Studies.
