Steven R. Pease Memorial Scholarship

SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
Scholarship will be awarded Fall 2024. The scholarship winner(s) will be invited to and highly encouraged to attend the CoSE Donor Dinner in late October 2024 if the donor to their scholarship will be present.

  • Scholarship Intent: The Pease memorial award is meant to encourage and support the pursuit of a geographic education at San Francisco State University.
  • Criteria:
    1) Must have completed at least 15 units in Geography, Environmental Science or GISc major at SF State.
    2) Undergraduates and graduates must have a minimum 3.5 SFSU GPA.
    3) Award will be disbursed in fall semester, so applicant must be continuing on and enrolled in fall semester.
    4) The requirement of 3 units does not apply to graduate students working on their thesis project.
  • Major: Multiple: All degrees within the Department of Geography and Environment.
  • Class Level: Undergrad: Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduating seniors continuing on to Grad school; Grad: Masters
